Call for Proposals for Crafting a Sonic Urbanism: the political voice

Call for proposals: We are organising our next colloquium on sonic urbanism on the 13 December 2019, in collaboration with IRIS,  titled Crafting a sonic urbanism: the political voice.  Following the first conference in 2018 exploring sonic urbanismin its broadest interpretation, the second iteration will focus on the ways that the voice / voices and their enmeshments with architecture, infrastructure, and technology are understood in the fields that both analyse and design urban life in their political dimension. This colloquium will take place at the EHESS, and invites both scholars and practitioners to present research, or works of sonic or spatial creation. 

You are invited to read the full call and submit proposals to share research or creative projects by the extended deadline of the 8th September 2019. Proposals can be sent in French or in English. The colloquium will take place in both French and English.

Appel à communication : Réaliser un urbanisme sonique: la voix politique

FR: À vos calendriers: nous organiserons notre prochain colloque sur l’urbanisme sonique le 13 Décembre 2019, en collaboration avec l'IRIS, intitulé “Réaliser un urbanisme sonique: la voix politique”. Prenant la suite de notre première conférence organisée en 2018 et qui explora l’urbanisme sonique dans son interprétation la plus large, cette deuxième édition se concentre sur les façons dont la/les voix et leur imbrication avec l’architecture, l’infrastructure et la technologie sont comprises dans les champs qui conçoivent et analysent la vie urbaine dans sa dimension politique. Ce colloque prendra place à la EHESS, et les communications peuvent se concentrer sur une recherche, ou des travaux de créations soniques et/ou spatiales partagés par des documents audiovisuels. 

Vous êtes invités à consulter l’appel à communication et à envoyer votre proposition jusqu’au la date limite prolongée de 08 Septembre 2019. Les discussions se dérouleront en anglais et en français.
